Congressman John Larson (D-CT) to Deliver Opening Remarks, Hartford-Area Companies to Receive “Save 10” Award
Washington, D.C.– On Friday, June 17, the Financial Services Roundtable (FSR) and United Technologies (UTC) will host an event at The Society Room in Hartford, Connecticut, featuring leading employers and experts discussing how to help workers achieve financial success in retirement, while recognizing Hartford-area employers who are already doing it right.
Nearly one-third of Americans have saved nothing for retirement and another third have not saved enough. Save 10 is an initiative raising awareness about the importance of retirement savings, particularly via employers by providing and encouraging opportunities to save at the workplace.
The event will also recognize new members of the Save 10 Coalition including: Eversource Energy, Halls Fast Motor Freight, MetroHartford Alliance, Northeast Controls, Pinnacle Foods Group, Steuben Trust Company, and The Eastern Company.
