Ally Financial is committed to “Do Giving Right” and it showed in November. The company celebrated the fifth anniversary of its Giving Back Month and introduced the “Give 5 with Ally” program.

Launched in 2012, Ally’s Giving Back Month encourages employees to support local nonprofit organizations with donations and volunteer time for vital community services and financial education. This November, Ally employees organized nearly 150 fundraising and volunteer events across the country. The campaign was the most successful Giving Back Month ever for Ally – with greater employee participation, more hours volunteered and more money donated than ever before.

More than 30 Ally employees volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Charlotte.

New for 2016, Ally invited its customers to join the spirit of giving and “Give 5 with Ally.” The campaign invited others to give $5 or more to support Junior Achievement USA or Feeding America. Ally also donated $5 for every tweet, retweet and share from @AllyFinancial or @Ally using the hashtag #DoGivingRight.

“Giving back to our communities is a core part of Ally’s culture and speaks to the customer promise we make to ‘Do It Right,’” said Jacqueline Howard, director of corporate citizenship at Ally. “The efforts shown by our employees and Give 5 donors were exemplary and led to the most impactful Ally Giving Back Month ever.”

Congratulations Ally Financial Inc.!
