Community involvement, being a good corporate citizen and helping people take charge of their lives and families are principles upon which our company was built. Lincoln Financial Group empowers our employees to participate in volunteer activities that support the communities where we live and work. One major way employees give back their time and treasure is through Lincoln Financial’s United Way campaign. This year, the theme is “Give for Good.”
Coinciding with the campaign are annual Days of Caring, when employees give for good by dedicating a full or partial workday in service to United Way agencies in their communities. In Greensboro, N.C., nearly 100 employees served at five agencies, including Black Child Development Institute – Greensboro, where they engaged at-risk students in a learning activity.
We cannot thank our employees enough for taking charge as “Chief Make a Difference Officers.” They have truly and passionately brought to life the notion that while we may give in different ways and for different reasons, we all give for good – and the impact of our giving is immeasurable.
