On a mission to build vibrant communities, drive economic development and promote financial literacy, Fulton Financial Corporation has created a new program called Fulton Forward™. The program brings together under one umbrella FFC’s numerous charitable giving and volunteer efforts, along with products, services and support designed to aid low- to moderate-income individuals and families.

In conjunction with the new program, Fulton has announced a partnership with the nationally renowned non-profit organization Operation HOPE. Operation HOPE, through its HOPE Inside initiative, will deploy a Financial Wellbeing Coach to Fulton subsidiary branches in underserved neighborhoods to assist community members with credit rebuilding, education about first-time homeownership, and financial literacy.

Fulton and Operation HOPE also are collaborating to launch a Closing Cost Assistance Program to boost home affordability. Under this program, eligible borrowers will receive grants of up to $2,500 toward closing costs, including down payment assistance. The program will be available in all of the communities served by Fulton and its subsidiaries in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia.

The Fulton Closing Cost Assistance grants can be paired with other Fulton products that are designed to benefit underserved communities to provide even greater opportunities for mortgage approvals due to reduced qualification requirements and increased funding. The HOPE Inside initiative will provide additional referrals to this program.

Fulton also made a charitable contribution to Operation HOPE to support its efforts in underserved communities.

Congratulations Fulton Financial Corporation!
