The founder and President, Theodore R. Daniels received Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy’s coveted 2014 William E. Odom Visionary Leadership Award. Recently, Mr. Daniels participated in “A Chance for Change: Child and Youth Finance and the Post-2015 Agenda” held at the United Nations, where 90 countries came together to discuss plans to increase the financial literacy of its children.
SFEPD will host its Seventh Annual Financial Literacy Leadership Conference which will be held September 29-30, 2014. The conference will include new topics and information that financial educators, financial and educational institutions, researchers, policymakers, and counseling agencies can use to enhance their financial literacy programs.
