TD Bank’s Summer Reading Program is celebrating its 12th successful year. The annual reading program rewards children who read 10 books during the summer with a $10 deposit into a new or existing Young Saver account. This yearly program encourages children to sharpen their reading and money-saving skills over the summer when they are out of school. This year, more than 23,000 children participated in the program.
TD has a strong heritage and culture of commitment to our communities, and a long history of volunteering through annual campaigns with the United Way, TD Tree Days, Banking on Books and other organizations. TD Bank continue to support local communities by providing financial literacy and education programs, including First Time Homebuyer seminars and workshops, and granting community development loans and investments to support affordable housing and other community programs and initiatives.
TD Bank has also recently released the new Financial Education Millennial Preparedness survey.
