This April, TD Bank is providing even more financial education programs in celebration of Financial Literacy Month. Financial Education is a core piece of what TD Bank does every day in the community, and the bank wanted employees receive the same great financial education experiences
Partnering with Ceridian LifeWorks and T. Rowe Price, TD Bank offers free Financial Education Webinars to all employees across every line of business to help them learn better money management skills and enable them to make smarter financial decisions for themselves and their families. Since launching in November, more than 1,000 employees participated in the financial education webinars. The webinars are held several times each month and feature more than ten different topics. Topics ranged from the basics of personal finance and consumer debt to saving for retirement and setting yourself up for life-long financial success.
Employees have found that these webinars are not only helping them manage their own money, but also enables them to better support customers. By understanding what the customer needs, employees can make more informed decisions about what products will support the customers’ financial goals.
This month, TD Bank is also teaching even more WOW! Zone and Adult Financial Education seminars in honor of Financial Literacy Month. Since the program’s inception over 20 years ago, TD Bank has taught more than one million students about the importance of money management and provided tips to help all consumers of every age become financially savvy.
