On Oct. 4, TD Bank introduced its new Financial Education Learning Center to Philadelphia based Charter School YouthBuild Philly. The new platform, developed by leading education technology company Everfi, Inc., is designed to appeal to and meet the needs of adults at any stage of life with a wide range of financial concerns, and provides education and advice to customers to help them learn more about personal finance.
Charter School YouthBuild Philly, a two-year program that provides a chance for those who didn’t finish high school to earn their diploma, introduced the TD Bank Learning Center to business administration students. During the schools event, TD Bank volunteers helped students explore lessons on taxes, identity protection and financing higher education. YouthBuild is incorporating the TD Learning Center into its consumer finance lessons and after-school programs for all of its students. The event was captured in a video — https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=12&v=aQnQVMdkHUg
The TD Bank Learning Center offers seven 10-minute modules covering topics on identity protection, financial higher education, insurance, credit scores and reports, home ownership, mortgages and taxes. Available in English and Spanish, users have the ability to choose a topic best suited for their financial needs and can access the platform through any device.
Congratulations TD Bank!
