The Webster Bank Employee United Way Campaign is among the most significant ways its bankers demonstrate that helping others is what matters most. Once again, they showed what it means to Live United by raising a record-breaking $1.37 million for the 2014 United Way Campaign.
The amount raised includes Webster banker contributions, a corporate contribution, and $76,800 from the bank’s United Way fundraising events, including an online auction, Jeans Days for United Way, and the Webster United Invitational Golf Tournament. The money will go to more than 40 United Way chapters and more than 100 United Way partner agencies.
“My sincerest thanks go out to everyone who participated in the campaign. Whether they chose to increase their pledge or give for the first time, this collective generosity shows commitment to the communities we serve,” said Matt Cammarota, senior vice president, Director of Consumer Lending, and chairman of the 2014 Employee United Way Campaign.
Webster Bank is a leading regional bank serving businesses and consumers in the northeast. Webster has taken part in every United Way Campaign since the Great Depression.
Congratulations Webster Bank!
