Webster Bank Partners With Junior Achievement

Webster Bank once again partnered with Junior Achievement for ‘JA in a Day’ – Webster’s biggest JA event of the year.  Living up to the communities it serves, Webster volunteers taught a JA curriculum on May 22 to hundreds of Kindergarten through fifth grade students at Tinker Elementary School in Waterbury, Conn.

The goal each year is to bring financial literacy programming to children in a fun and accessible way.  Webster believes that the earlier today’s students learn these basic knowledge and skills, the more opportunity they will have to thrive both professionally and financially.  This is a personal investment as well as a financial commitment by our bankers to do what matters most.

Webster is a longtime supporter of JA, whose mission is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, understand business and economics, and to improve the quality of their lives.  Webster participates in a number of JA activities throughout the year and throughout its four-state footprint from metro New York to Boston, Mass.

Congratulations Webster Bank!
