Jason Kratovil is Vice President of Government Affairs for Payments at the Financial Services Roundtable, where he oversees advocacy efforts on issues related to payment cards, emerging technologies, and consumer data security. Kratovil joined FSR from the American Bankers Association, where he was Vice President and Deputy Executive Director of the ABA Card Policy Council. Previously, he was a vice president for the Independent Community Bankers of America, and also served as Legislative Director for former U.S. Representative Steven C. LaTourette (R-OH). Kratovil also worked in public affairs at Hill & Knowlton in DC, and in marketing with Dell Computers in Texas.
Kratovil received a Master of Public Policy degree from George Mason University and B.A. from Miami University (OH), and holds a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife and son.
